FOR USE IN: Food Plants, Hospitals and Institutional/Industrial Settings
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: 10% n-Alkyl, (60% C14 30% C16 5% C12 5% C18), dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride
For food processing equipment, dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, equipment and conveyors, wash with soap or detergent then rinse. Use 2 ml of Ostro San per litre of water to give 200 ppm active sanitizing. No rinsing is required at 200 ppm or less. Allow 30 seconds contact time for sanitizing.
For general disinfecting of floors, walls and other hard surfaces in nursing homes and institutions, as well as for sink tops, garbage pails, telephones and restrooms, use 5 ml of Ostro San per litre of water.
For all disinfecting, allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes then remove excess liquid.
Pre-clean heavily soiled areas. Completely drain the product from all food contact surfaces and rinse with potable water. Avoid contamination of food during application and storage. Prepare a fresh solution for each use.
